BUSINESS SCHOOL

Business School of The University of Lahore has been established to offer graduate and post¬graduate programs in Commerce, Accountancy and Finance. It is envisaged that the traditional commerce graduates and post graduates have failed to play their effective role in our increasingly competitive, technological interdependent and rapidly changing business environment. As such graduate and post-graduate programs have been designed to provide skills and knowledge in applied and practical aspects of Accountancy Commerce and Finance. These skills are highly essential for effective business and organizational development in the country.

The programs are aimed to develop bridging to internationally recognized professional accountancy qualifications such as CA in Pakistan and ACCA, UK and simultaneously prepare the students to take exams of these professional bodies.

PHYSICAL FACILITIES

Location and Infrastructure

Business School is located at a short distance from Liberty Market Gulberg and housed in 47/C3 Gulberg III, Lahore, which makes its accessibility convenient. The campus is housed in a very spacious, splendid and an almost purpose-built building. The campus has air-conditioned class room administrative block, teacher and student center, computer laboratory, library photocopy center, bookshop and cafeteria etc. The library possesses most modern journals and latest books on all the disciplines of Accountancy and Finance. Besides this it also possesses a large number of management sciences and literature books and journals.
The students and faculty members of Business School can also have free access to all the physical facilities such as information/resource center, library, laboratories, cafeteria and hostel etc of main campus of the University located at Raiwind Road, Lahore.

Classrooms

Well-lighted and air-conditioned classrooms offer meeting points for the students and faculty to engage in mutual discussions and lectures. The classrooms are equipped with projector, television, VCR and multimedia to facilitate the education process.

Computer Laboratory

A high-tech, state of the art computer laboratory, with more than 25 computers, is open upto IO: OOPM. Students complement their classroom learning with the latest computer technology available. They make full use of this facility for conducting research and for working on their reports, projects and presentations.

Seminar Room

Beside regular classroom lectures, the students are encouraged to add to their knowledge from other sources. For this purpose, speakers from various fields of life are invited for lectures and seminars. These sessions are conducted in seminar room, which is fully equipped with audio/visual facilities.

Audio / Visual Facilities

As a part of the learning process, the students are assigned various project and presentations. For this purpose, students are provided with projector, data show, multimedia, sound system, TV, VCR and video camera for use in the campus.

Cafeteria

Students are expected to work hard in acquiring the knowledge and some times they can be found in the campus late at nights. For anyone who wants to grab a light refreshing snack or have a wholesome meal, an on campus cafeteria offers a varied menu. The cafeteria is open seven days a week, from eight in the morning till nine at night.

Hostel Facility

The University provides a well-furnished hostel facility for the students, with an easy access to both, the University and city center. The hostel has all the modern facilities like TV, telephone exchange and the rooms are comfortable according to the needs of students.

Study Material

The School has its own syllabus specific study material for all subjects. The material consists of textbooks, practice and revision kits, pass cards and break through video which help the students and tutors to cover in depth all of the syllabus within the allocated time.

Sports Facilities

Many facilities for indoor games have been provided on campus. For outdoor games students utilize off campus facilities adjacent to the University.

BS (Hons) Accounting with Law
BS (Hons) Management with Law

The BS (Hons) students of the University of Lahore can simultaneously take, after enrolling with The University of London, the external examinations of The University of London without any separate efforts and can obtain two valuable and internationally recognized degrees, with the flexibility to move to UK in final Year to complete the remaining courses of these programs in UK.
